Paint is one of the quickest and least expensive ways to give a home a facelift. If you're thinking about placing your home on the market, you'll want to take steps to make sure it appeals to the greatest number of potential buyers.  The use of color can be a fun and powerful way to create a mood and elicit a positive response in your home’s interior. Color can enhance home sales by creating a certain feel for an entire room with just one accent wall.

Remember, color can be very personal, and every color has an underlying "personality." Be sure the colors you choose reflect the image you wish to portray. For elegance and timelessness, select more neutral tones that are easy to decorate around. If you're in a more urban setting or a younger neighborhood, trendy colors will work well. Just avoid really bold colors like red or bright yellow. Determine what vibe you want the space to have. In restful rooms where serenity is desired, toning down the shade of color achieves a calming effect, while bold colors create pizzazz and playfulness. When using brighter, vibrant colors, try to limit the competition by keeping other colors to a minimum and pairing with neutrals.

At the very least, a fresh coat of paint will make your home look clean and well cared for, something potential buyers will surely appreciate.
